There are so many ways to grow your text list, from doing signs out in front of your business, to sending out emails. The best way I have found to grow my list is through a good Facebook Ad, or boosted post. Now, there is a difference when you are talking about creating a Facebook AD, and deciding to boost one of your posts from your business page. I recommend that 90% of the time, boosting a post within ads manager, is better than creating an ad. With a post, you can say more, and it won’t always come across as an “Ad” to your viewers. Here are some of my Facebook secrets when creating a post to grow your text marketing list.
#1- Explain in detail what you are offering, and offer a deal through your text list
Share with your customers a special offer that they can only receive if they sign up for your text communication list. This will almost always guarantee more sign ups if you offer an incentive for signing up. Make them feel exclusive or VIP, and you will get a better response.
#2- Have an eye catching image in your ad or post.
People scroll through Facebook so fast, that unless you have an image that catches there eye, you will get lost in all the other stuff out there. Although you need to keep it relevant to your business, be creative and come up with something different. Something that will stop someone if even for a half a second. Most times, that’s all it takes. I have found that pics of people work well. Try different images and learn what works with your product or service.
#3-Get creative with your words.
You want to share in detail what your offer is, and how people can sign up for your text list, but you don’t want to ramble on and on. If your customer stops because of the image, most times they will take the time to read your post. Just keep track of how much each post engagement is costing you. Adjust either your image or how you word things, until more people are interacting with your post. Think outside the box. Try to relate to your customer base with as much personal connection as possible. There is no special formula for this, just trial and error.
